Been with Nonko almost a year. The team is truly professional – quick in response, rigid in risk management and flexible enough to extend my buying power even though my wire has not hit.

I have had multiple accounts (both retail broker and prop firms like Nonko). Nonko and ThinkOrSwim are only 2 accounts that I maintained all the time.

These guys in Nonko are traders, system admins and risk managers. So they know everything in and outs – be it a trading question or a system glitch. they are also very supportive to get me both extra buying power and valuable suggestions while I was testing out my strategy in this account.

Rate and platform are competitive as well. Thus Strongly recommend.

      Hi Craig,

Hope well. I am a trader considering Nonko. I am based in the US and cant find much information on them. Are you US based trader??? If so can we exchange numbers so I can get a real read and color on Nonko?

Just been with Nonko for a few months. The commission structure, 20:1 margin, risk management, no PDT, minimal funding requirements, positive reviews and experiences from a fellow trader and many other factors were appealing to me. The cons before I opened my account: wire in/out fees, platform fee, no US phone number, etc. that are typical of overseas prop firms. I have considered Sure Trader for years, but this one seemed to be better.

The first month, my account just was back and forth not going anywhere. Suddenly I found a fluke in the market that allowed me to take profit 11 times and only 1 loss consistently. I traded more and more of the same system I formulated. I was making up to $1k/day from my $1k account. Suddenly, my platform didn’t connect to the server properly and it ruined my winning streak. After weeks of chatting with support and trying to fix the issue, including turning off firewall, uninstalling anti-virus, switching from 64 to 32 bit versions and more, we finally discovered that my account was somehow partially disabled. After requesting a new account number, the clearing firm would not allow it.

The whole time the clearing firm has not been in any communication with me or the broker. I assume I accidentally made a trading violation by pushing the sell button twice to exit my GPRO postion. GPRO is not on the short list and I was in a short position at one point against my will. I had to log out and back in to discover that.

I have made trading violations before on accident and had my account suspended for six months. No big deal, no fines, court action or criminal action, but for the clearing firm to partially disable my platform and not inform me or the broker what they had done is very unprofessional.

I withdrew most my funds with no problem, then made a bunch more again.

I really hope that I will be able to trade again. I am told they will be switching clearing firms and that will allow me to trade, otherwise we assume that we have to wait until the suspension is lifted if that is even the case at all.

I am quitting my job with my recent winnings and hope to trade again so I don’t have to find a new job a few months down the road.

Overall review: definitely 5 star IF you have a small account (under 25k in the US) or otherwise can’t find a discount broker with very, very low commissions that allow you to profit where others see no potential because of the standard commissions they pay.

PROS: 20:1 margin, no PDT, very low commissions, tech support on Skype, relative fast wire in wire out when paying the fees, no hidden fees and rebates for buying at the bid and selling at the ask.

CONS: platform fee can hurt if you are not profiting, not a peep from current clearing firm, and sometimes your orders execute at the ask when buying the bid and vice versa.

Had an account with them in 2014. Traded for about a 6 months using DAS platform they offered at that time. Then things suddenly took a nasty turn…
DAS was abruptly terminated and a new platform was forced on all existing traders. You guessed right, it’s the infamous Logix, aka NINTENDO. I’m not kidding! Logix is a f’n joke!!! From day one, not one order I placed on Logix showed up on L2. Okay, you may say they made the orders “invisible” but wait… Even hidden orders when executed always show up on Time & Sales but not on Logix. What basically happened is this… Nonko got greedy to the point, when inflated commissions along with reduced pass through ECN rebates were simply not enough, so they decided to steal even more money by not routing orders to the exchange. Given that most traders lose money, Nonko just kept their losses to themselves. It didn’t take me long to figure out what they’re up to, so I cashed out and left. Total FRAUD lost my total account, as well as other members of the trader group. Total joke, no live orders went out, and when ask for profits they never sent (since money making traders, their trades never went out to real market the profit was never there). they take down bad reviews and comments from elitetrader and other websites. http://www.tradingschools.org/nonko-trading-update/ The main guys behind it is an american citizen named naris chamroonrat and the other partner behind G6 Trading. They are the same thing. Avoid them, current day version of Jordan Belfort they take your money and put it in their pockets and launder money off shore and may be under scrutiny for tax evasion. This guy Naris ended up hurting countless of mostly small time inexperienced traders.
